East of England Obesity Network

This page is dedicated to event information for the East of England Obesity Network

During 2012/13 ASO will be arranging a series of meetings within the East of England Region on behalf of the Department of Health. Details of these events together with related information will appear below.

If you are not currently included in the Network and you work in or are studying obesity in the Region, please contact Catherine Stone at the ASO Office to have your name added.

Note: Members of the East of England Obesity Network will be offered fast track membership of the ASO.

The first ASO East of England regional meeting was held on 19 September 2012 at MRC Human Nutrition Research, Cambridge.  The theme of this half-day meeting was Evaluation of Obesity Interventions.

The second meeting was held on 6 December 2012 in Norwich.  The theme was Care Pathways in Obesity.

The next meeting Healthy Communities; Tackling Obesity in Local Areas  will take place on 7 March 2013 in London.  The programme and registration details are here http://www.aso.org.uk/events/conferences/
